Anglesey Abbey is a National Trust property near Cambridge in the UK. I visited it a while ago specifically to explore the winter garden and was not disappointed. Many varieties of snowdrops were evident, as were a few early daffodils and helebores. There were some stunning colours amongst the trees and shrubs. Lode Mill is a working watermill a short walk from the Abbey alongside the river, from where this scene was painted. Whole grain flour can be bought from the mill.
